more about this event

The Château Boundary team are constantly planning new and interesting events, with the aim to host two or three tastings per month. It is our intention to offer a diverse and interesting programme of wine experiences that vary in price, format and size – from simple and short tastings, appealing both to beginners and those with more advanced knowledge, to exclusive dinners featuring world-renowned wines.

The diary dates are published in advance and we provide specific details for each occasion approximately one month ahead. Our website is updated when new information is available and emails are sent to the database on a regular basis. Château Boundary En Primeur club members receive advance notification and booking priority. En Primeur members also receive a discount on the ticket price for each event, based on a minimum of 15% and sometimes up to 30%. Please also note that we do not host events in December and August.

Wines that are served at the tasting events are available to purchase on the night, or after the event at retail prices. Again, En Primeur members receive a further discount on these wines.

Please email info@chateauboundary.co.uk if you require further information on any of the events or have a specific request or idea for our future events schedule.

Bin Ends at Brunch on Saturday

Every Saturday we set-up the Boundary Bar with a bin ends sale. All wines are offered at 50% discount against our normal selling prices. Yes, we did say 50%. You can choose to simply collect a bottle or two and enjoy the wine at home or dine with us and enjoy the wine for the same price at your table. There is no catch – honest. This is a great deal. So, relax a little on Saturday afternoon and take the chance to enjoy some wonderful wines at unbeatable prices.

Magnums and More

Every Monday evening at Boundary Restaurant all magnums and larger format bottles on the wine list are available for purchase with a minimum 10% discount. Most magnums, double magnums and jeroboams, to mention just a few of the large formats that the Boundary wine list has become known for, offer 20%, 30% and even 40% discount – only available on a Monday evening. Join us for dinner and bring some friends. These impressive bottles look amazing and the wine is ALWAYS better. You can even take the empty bottle home afterwards as a memento. We list a range of wines in these large formats, from a great value and easy-drinking Mâcon, to the outstanding Château Cheval Blanc.

Dégustation de Vin

On Friday 13 January, Christopher Delalonde, Master Sommelier and also the Boundary Head Sommelier, will be launching “Dégustation de Vin” at Boundary Restaurant. This is a unique wine tasting that allows diners to enjoy a six-course dinner menu comprising premium ingredients together with 12 world-class wines. Christopher has carefully matched fantastic wines with each course. The tasting includes a flight of wines with one course, a mystery wine tasting and some amazing flavour combinations that will transform the opinions of every wine-lover. With each tasting menu there will also be a rare opportunity to try one of the world’s most prestigious wines. To accentuate the tastes and maximise the enjoyment of each wine, a bespoke selection of fine and rare Riedel and Zalto glassware has been sourced to complement each wine. Finally, at the end of the evening, all guests will receive a personalised menu with exact details of all of the food and wines that have been enjoyed.

The “Dégustation de Vin” experience is available Monday to Saturday from 7 to 10.30pm at Boundary Restaurant for tables of two to eight guests @ £190pp, subject to a 12.5% discretionary service charge. This special luxury food and wine tasting experience will only be available to a strict maximum of just two tables per evening, therefore pre-booking is advised.

You can also purchase “Dégustation de Vin” as a gift for a friend or wine enthusiast. To extend the occasion, when the “Degustation de Vin” experience is purchased in advance, it can also be partnered with an overnight bedroom suite at Boundary Hotel, plus breakfast for two in Albion, at £425pp including VAT and all service charges. All subject to availability.
