You are invited to meet Daniel Ravier, Regisseur of Domaine Tempier and taste these iconic wines of Provence, indeed all of France. |
Synonymous with Kermit Lynch, one of the world’s greatest wine merchants, who has a house in the village, Domaine Tempier produces two distinct ranges. While popularly known for its world-class rosé, it is their age worthy, understatedly intense reds that blossom so in the bottle, exciting those in the wine world. |
In the 1940’s, the owning Peyraud family replanted the almost extinct, moody Mourvèdre grape, ultimately becoming responsible for its revival, and the creation of the Bandol Appellation itself. Daniel promises to enlighten us with stories of the family, and his organic working practices today, while we taste through recent vintages, plus a quite priceless fully mature gem. |
Please note this is our last event of 2012 – and promises to be one of our best, ever?
Tickets are £110 to include all of the wines and a four course dinner menu. Apéritif from 6.45pm with the tasting and dinner commencing at 7.15pm |
