Ten Minutes by Tractor is rated as one of Australia's best wineries by wine guru James Halliday and the wines regularly receive rave reviews from such celebrated wine writers as Jancis Robinson MW - see below, Huon Hooke, Matthew Jukes, and Nick Stock of the Penguin Guide to Australian Wines. Since Martin Spedding took over the winery in 2004, he has transformed it in to one of Australia's leading estates, focussing on the quality of the grapes from the three original vineyards, each of them a ten minute tractor ride away from each other.
Martin will be presenting his acclaimed wines at Boundary Restaurant on 25th January and will discuss everything from the history of the estate to his unique winemaking techniques. It promises to be an interesting evening with some delicious wines.
Apéritif from 7pm, with the tasting commencing at 7.30pm. Tickets are £85.00pp.
For this event only we are offering a special deal on the tickets – buy 3 tickets and receive a 4th free of charge.
The Mornington Peninsular is turning out to be quite a region for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Ten Minutes by Tractor’s wines are thrillingly good. Jamie Goode, January 2011
The winery that impressed me most for the consistency and vibrancy of its wines across reds and whites was 10 Minutes by Tractor, an unforgettably named outfit in Mornington Peninsula just south of Melbourne that is gaining an increasing reputation for Pinots of all sorts (including Chardonnay) distinguished by excellent definition.
