Way back in May 2010, when we were first starting up our little wine club, we hosted a fantastic dinner with Loimer and Heinrich, two distinguished winemakers from Austria. Both our staff and customers were bowled over by the quality of the wines. Since this point, Boundary Restaurant has continued to list a fine range of Austrian wines that are always well received.
Most people are already aware of the delights of Grüner Veltliner, and it’s no secret that Austria produces other amazing white wines. So, for this event, we will be focusing on the potential for great red wine in the terroir of Southern Burgenland. We will be joined by two exceptional winemakers from Weingut Schützenhof and Weingut Gerald Unger. In addition, we are very happy to welcome Manfred Stallmajer from Hotel Das Triest in Vienna, who will present the wines during the dinner.
The wines we are showing are recognised as some of the top wines in Austria right now; it promises to be a fantastic evening.
