Last year we hosted two very successful Barolo and truffle evenings. This year, we thought it would be more interesting to show Barbaresco with Alba truffles. With some of the Barolo prices now achieving the same sky-high levels that you see in Bordeaux, there is increasing focus on neighbouring Barbaresco. Certainly, we feel the wines are often more suited to the pleasant pungency that truffles can bring. Plus, the art of any wine buying and ordering involves selecting the most suitable bottle at the lowest possible price. Our maxim in these straightened times; Barbaresco over Barolo. |

Thanks to the support of New Generation Wines and legendary Barbaresco producers Rivetti Massimo, we are able to offer tickets to this event at just £80pp including the truffles, pre-dinner canapés, a delicious four course dinner menu, plus the tutored tasting with five Rivetti Massimo wines. |
