Rooftop
Boundary Rooftop includes a large bar with seating arranged around an open fireplace, a 48-seat grill restaurant and a garden designed by Nicola Lesbirel. The rooftop is accessible by a direct lift and is served by its own kitchen. Panoramic views range 360 degrees from Canary Wharf, round to the City’s Gherkin and Barbican, and back again to the rooftops and spires of East London. The space is replete with a large sail-like canopy, heating, festoon lighting and Welsh blankets.

Reservations Policy
Due to the vagaries of the British weather, the rooftop bar and grill restaurant does not accept reservations. A limited number of tables are available for lunch and supper each day, however, these tables are only for groups of eight or more who can be accommodated in the dining area under the canopy. Please note that we do not take reservations for groups who wish only to drink on the rooftop.
Please email info@theboundary.co.uk if you have any queries.
Events and Private Dining
This year, Boundary Rooftop will be taking a limited number of group bookings in conjunction with table reservations in Boundary Restaurant. For parties of eight or more, a table or space under the rooftop canopy can be arranged for reception drinks and canapés from 5.30pm–7.30pm, followed by dinner in the restaurant or the restaurant’s private dining area. Rooftop tables can also be reserved for postprandial digestifs, coffee and cigars for those who have dined earlier in the evening in Boundary Restaurant.
Exclusive Hire
Private and exclusive hire of the rooftop is not available. On a limited number of occasions across the summer, the rooftop will be available for large events of up to a maximum of 80 people. There is some shelter from rain, with a sail-like canopy covering approximately one half of the floor space. Capacity under the sail is 40 people seated and 60 standing.
Opening Times
From 1 June to 18 September, the Rooftop will be open daily from midday subject to weather conditions. The bar is open from midday to 9.30pm with last orders called at 9.15pm. The full grill menu is available for lunch from midday to 4pm, with last food orders at 3.45pm. The kitchen reopens at 5.30pm until 8.30pm, with last orders at 8.15pm.
