The Tim Atkin Wine School at Boundary
This summer we will be welcoming Tim Atkin MW and his renowned wine school, voted by Time Out as one of the best in London. Tim will be hosting four unique and fun events, each designed to enhance and broaden your wine knowledge and complement our Château Boundary wine club activities.
A Master of Wine and award-winning journalist, Tim Atkin has been teaching, tasting and writing about wine for more than 25 years. There is barely a wine region that he has not visited, written about or photographed. Tim appears on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and writes for The World of Fine Wine, The Economist’s Intelligent Life and Woman & Home, among others. He is the co-chairman of the International Wine Challenge, the world’s most rigorously judged blind tasting competition, and has won over 20 journalism awards. Students of his wine school benefit from Tim’s knowledge and experience, but also his sense of humour and love of teaching.
“ Tim is a fantastic teacher. I feel like the world of wine has been decoded for me, as if I’ve learnt a whole new language."
Rose Van Orden. Student on Beginners' Course, 2011
"Tim is an approachable and engaging teacher, who encourages discussion and demystifies the process of learning. He has a non-didactic teaching style, bags of humour and anecdotes, and he puts everyone at ease."
For every four individual tickets, the buyer will receive a £50 voucher to be used towards the cost of a future Château Boundary tasting event.
All of the courses are held at Boundary Restaurant and numbers will be strictly limited. Tim’s events are always oversubscribed so book early to avoid disappointment.
Guests are asked to arrive for 10.45am with the course starting at 11am and ending at 4pm. Tickets include a minimum of 12 wines and a two course lunch.
